about our church

When are your services? We hold two services every Sunday morning. The sermon preached at both services is the same, but the format of the worship before/after the sermon is different. 8:30 AM: For those who prefer a traditional church service format, we offer a service with hymns accompanied by piano/organ music and responsive scripture reading. This service will be enjoyed most be people accustomed to singing from a hymnal and being led by a single worship leader. 11 AM: For those who prefer a modern church service format, we offer a service with contemporary worship songs accompanied by a full band, including guitars, drum set, and keyboard. This service will be enjoyed most by people accustomed to reading lyrics from a projector screen and being led by a band of musicians. We currently do not offer any evening services. If this is something you would benefit from, please let us know!

What do I wear?We are a community church, which means that we love our entire community. Please wear whatever is most comfortable for you! We come together to worship and seek God, not to compare wardrobes. OK, but what does everyone else wear? I don't want to be over- or under-dressed! We understand! During the 8:30 AM traditional service, many men wear shirt/tie or a suit, and many women wear a dress or blouse/skirt. During the 11 AM modern service, many people wear T-shirts/pants, and some women wear a dress or blouse/skirt. That said, you are welcome to wear whatever you'd like to either service; we'll be too happy to see you to notice!

Do I have to give money?Absolutely not! There is no requirement or compulsion to give money; in fact, if you are just visiting, we don't want you to feel the need to give at all. We're just so happy that you'll be checking us out!

How do I watch online? We currently livestream both our Sunday-morning services on the following platforms: YouTube Facebook X Twitch Rumble Odysee Kick We encourage you to subscribe on every platform, just in case one of them is censored and you need to use one of the others instead.

What do you believe? The following Doctrinal Statement is not exhaustive; the Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe. We do believe, however, that our Doctrinal Statement accurately represents the teaching of the Bible and is therefore binding upon all members, and all literature used in the church shall be in complete agreement. The Holy Scriptures: We believe that the Bible, consisting of Old and New Testaments only, is verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit, is inerrant in the original manuscripts, is unchanging moral truth, and is the infallible and authoritative Word of God. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are the complete and divine revelation of God to man. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Matthew 5:18) The Godhead: We believe that the one, triune God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit eternal in being, identical in essence, equal in power and glory, and having the same attributes and perfections. (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14) The Person and Work of Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified, shed His blood as man’s substitutionary sacrifice, rose bodily on the third day, and ascended to heaven where He is presently exalted at the right hand of the Father. (John 1:1-18; Luke 1:35; Romans 3:24-26; Romans 4:25) The Total Depravity of Man: We believe that Adam was created in the image of God, tempted by Satan, the god of this world and fell. Because of Adam’s sin, all men have guilt imputed, are totally depraved, and need to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit for salvation. (Genesis 1:26; Genesis 3:1-24; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Ephesians 2:12) Salvation: We believe that salvation consists of the remission of sins, the imputation of Christ’s righteousness, and the gift of eternal life received by faith alone, apart from works. (Ephesians 2:8-10; John 1:12; Ephesians 1:7) The Second Coming of Christ: We believe that the return of Jesus Christ for His own, the Church, is imminent, that it will be visible and personal, and that it will be followed by His subsequent pre-millennial return to earth to set up His kingdom. (1 Thessalonians 1:9-10; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Zechariah 14:4-11; Revelation 20:6) The Eternal State: We believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to everlasting life and blessedness in heaven, and the unsaved to everlasting and conscious punishment. (Luke 16:19-26; 2 Corinthians 5:8; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9; Revelation 20:11-15; Phil. 1:23) The Church: We believe that the Church, the Body of Christ, consists only of those who are born again, who are baptized by the Holy Spirit into Christ at the time of regeneration, who are sealed unto the day of redemption, who are secure in Christ forever, for whom He now makes intercession in heaven, and for whom He will come again. (Ephesians 1:13-14, 22; Romans 8:1, 29-30; John 10:27-30; 1 Corinthians 12:12-13) The Ordinances: We believe that the Lord Jesus instituted the ordinances of Water Baptism and the Lord’s Supper to be observed by all believers until His return. (Matthew 28:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26) The Great Commission: We believe that Christ commanded the church to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that He has commanded us. And behold, He will be with us always, to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15) Marriage: We believe that the only Scriptural legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman. (Gen. 2:24; Rom. 7:2; 1 Corinthians 7:10; Ephesians 5:22-23) Human Sexuality: We believe that God has commanded that intimate sexual activity be reserved for one man and one woman within a marriage. We believe that God disapproves of the practice of any sexual activity outside of a marriage between one man and one woman, activities such as: adultery, fornication, or homosexuality and that they are sinful and forbidden by Scripture. We believe that an individual’s gender is determined by God and no one should attempt to alter his or her gender by surgery or appearance. (Genesis 2:24; Genesis 19:5, 13; Genesis 26:8-9; Leviticus 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-29; 1 Corinthians 5:1; 6:9; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8; Hebrews 13:4) Divorce: We believe that God disapproves of divorce and intends marriage to last until one of the spouses dies. (Malachi 2:14-17; Matthew 19:3-12; Romans 7:1-3) Abortion: We believe that human life begins at conception and that the unborn child is a living human being. Abortion constitutes the taking of unborn human life. (Job 3:16; Psalms 51:5; Psalms 139:14-16; Isaiah 44:24; 49: Isaiah 49:1-5; Jeremiah 1:5; 20:15-18; Luke 1:44) Euthanasia: We believe that the direct taking of an innocent human life is a moral evil, regardless of the intention. Life is a gift of God and must be respected from conception until natural death. (Exodus 20:13, 23:7; Matthew 5:21; Acts 17:28) Lawsuits Between Believers: We believe the church possesses all the resources necessary to resolve personal disputes between members. (1 Corinthians 6:1-8; Ephesians 4:31-32)
