13 But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to besaved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. 14 To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter. 16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, 17 comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.
2 Thessalonians 2:13-17 ESV

These classes are open and everyone is welcome! Please come and study The Word of God with us!
The Bible Zone takes place during our Christian education hour for our kids.It is a fun interactive time where the kids and their friends can play, draw on the chalkboard wall, watch a video, and most importantly, they can learn about the Bible. If you have any questions contact Andy Kirstein at (509)981-0760.
God Time is on Sundays from 11:00am-12:00pm in the annex during the contemporary service.
I first started “God Time” when we came to Medical Lake Community Church over 10 years ago, at first mostly as a service to the parents so that they could enjoy the preaching. It has developed over the years, and I can say that our teachers truly desire that the children who come get a message on their level, and grasp spiritual truths to be applied in their lives. Currently we are using “The Gospel Project” material from Lifeway.
The nursery is available for children up to the age of 3 during all services and the Christian education hour.
Awana is a nondenominational ministry that assists churches in reaching children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him. They supply programs, materials, and training for more than 13,000 churches in over 110 countries. Their message to churches is simple: "We're here to serve you with a ministry that is all about fun with a purpose, to win and grow kids for Christ!"
Our Awana club meets throughout the school year from 6:00pm to 7:35pm in the church annex in the upper room.
Illuminated is the name of our youth group. We strive as a church to prepare our students to show Christ's light in our world. Your students can come and have fun playing games, building relationships with other students, and most importantly learning more about their faith. If you have any questions please call Andy Kirstein at (509)981-0760.
MLCC loves teen mom's and chooses to reach out to them through the Embrace Grace program to love them to Christ and help them with diapers and baby essentials as well as teach them vital skills in life.
Please feel free to join us at 6pm on the first and the third Thursday of the month in the church annex in the upper room.
For any questions please contact Teresa Hudson.
In Matthew 28:19 Jesus told the twelve who followed Him, "Go therefore and make disciples..." Our goal is to build up dads by making them disciples first. God has a plan for dads, and we believe that the best dads are the ones that follow that plan. The way we do that is to share God's Word, and pray for them, as we share our life experience teaching them the things that have helped us navigate through life in a fallen world. Our chief end is to bring glory to God by making disciples who will be Godly and loving fathers. Fathers who are in right relationship with God, their children, and the mother of their children.
Proverbs 27:17 says "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." MLCC's Men's Ministry is dedicated to bringing glory to God by equipping one another to better serve the body of Christ. We do this primarily through the study of God's Word and prayer for one another, as well as the rest of MLCC. We seek to give and receive Godly council to one another to help each other navigate through life's challenges. It is our desire to become better men for Christ, that we may become better husbands, fathers, brothers, and friends. Our chief goal is God's will, our sanctification. Also come interact with us on our men's blog at mlccmensgroup.blogspot.com
If you are serious about growing spiritually the Elders are serious about helping you. We have a discipleship program that starts with the Fundamentals of the Faith and moves on to learning about why we do the things we do in our Genesis Change Groups. Our next class focuses on learning what God’s Word says about our local church. After learning about the community aspect of Christianity, that is, serving and loving one another, the process moves on to equip people to learn how to study the Bible. Next, the Truth Project helps people build a solid biblical worldview, minimizing the possibility of being taken captive by worldly philosophies. The Spiritual Growth Process concludes with understanding and applying the spiritual disciplines into our daily walk. These classes emphasize the importance of knowing God’s Word, and we encourage people to move into teaching positions if possible. Discipleship is learning, walking and teaching! We all need a Paul, Barnabas and Timothy in our lives. Remember, if you aren’t actively growing you are standing still or coasting! Come, get involved, and see what God has in store for you!
